north on McPhillips. McPhillips will turn
into #8 Highway. Continue north
about 30 minutes, and turn East on
Highway #225. Continue East until you
reach Lake Winnipeg. Follow the curve
of the road. You are heading North
on Gimli Road (Highway #232). The Whytewold Emporium
address is 190 Gimli Rd. in Whytewold,
Manitoba.
Look for the wooden
pergola. At 175 feet the wooden pergola
is the largest trellis of its type in
the interlake. The pergola provides a
central meeting place for a farmer's market
& local crafters and artists. On special
weekends you will find a Henna tattooist,
tarot card reader and even a tea cup reader
taking refuge under the pergola. A very
large and traditional wood fired Pizza
oven and an outdoor sitting area is also
nestled under the pergola, providing shelter
to the patrons of the Emporium as they
enjoy hand crafted crepes & thin crust,
wood - fired Pizza.
